Anthony Hockley

Anthony Hockley

Grand Master

Grand Master Anthony Hockley has studied martial arts since 1979. Through over 40 years of experience he has trained in martial arts styles from all around the world, earning black belt & instructor grade levels in 21 martial arts systems, some of which are listed above. Having both trained and graded internationally, he has had the honour of learning from many internationally recognised instructors, including Senior Grand Master Chuck Sullivan, Master Carlos Machado, Shihan Dana Abbott, Sensei Benny ‘The Jet’ Uquidez, Hanshi Ramon Lawrence OAM, Supreme Grand Master Cacoy Canete, Sifu Larry Hartsell, and many more.

Martial arts in not about fighting it’s about helping real people feel good about themselves and achieving something in their lives. Becoming a black belt is about self-perfection of one’s character not building one’s ego. I may get called Master, but I am always a student of the arts and always will train with an open mind and love in my heart.
