2020 has been a difficult year for not only CMAA but for everyone around the world, due to the unprecedented COVID-19 global pandemic. Due to the restrictions and closures surrounding the pandemic, our Black Belt grading was postponed for the first time ever, taking place on the 1st of August. Regardless of the interruption to training and difficult conditions over the last 6 months, 13 extremely hard working and dedicated CMAA students graded to Black Belt this past Saturday.
Firstly, a big congratulations to everybody who has put in their hard work, not only on Saturday but also for all the years leading up to this special day and many hours spent training on the mats.

We are so very proud of all the students for their hard work and dedication, as well as all the instructors who have helped these students reach their goals at CMAA.
Our list for potential Black Belt candidates for 2021 is growing bigger once again, and we are all excited to see our school, students and teachers continue to grow throughout the years to come, as more and more people reach their goals.
