On Saturday 11th of November 2023, we had our biggest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) competition team compete in CMAA history! We had 8 people compete – 6 being first timers! We also had several other members come along to show their support.
Congratulations to everyone. You all did such a fantastic job!
A massive shoutout to Caitlin, Bastian and Ben for fighting above both their age and weight bracket due to not having any competitors in their divisions. You guys held your own so well and impressed us all.
Mark you absolute gem – competing at 65 years old and winning Bronze is such a huge achievement!
Great job to Morgan for winning double gold, in his first competition!
A very well done to Darren, April and Travis for showing some really solid Jiu-Jitsu. You fought hard and managed your nerves so well!
