Black Belt Grading 2019

2019 has been a huge year for CMAA so far, with Kancho’s recent 10th Degree promotion in the art of Chinese Kenpo, being nominated for the 2019 Business Awards and now, 14 CMAA Students graded to Black Belt on Saturday the 4th of May.

Firstly, a big congratulations to everybody who has put in their hard work, not only on Saturday but also for all the years leading up to this special day-

Hockley Chinese Kenpo:

-1st Degree: 
Sensei Daniel, Sensei Cassidy, Darren, Vonnie, Helei, Margot and Leigh

Adult Hockley Kempo:

-Probationary Black Belt: 
Sensei Andrew, Frank

-2nd Degree:
Sensei Audrey

Kali, Eskrima, Arnis, Silat:

-2nd Level Black: 
Sensei Daniel, Sensei Jesse

Koshindo Ju-Jitsu:

-4th Degree: 
Renshi Andrew

Junior Hockley Kempo:

-Junior Black Belt:
Zarah, Ayla

Secondly, a big thank you to all the helpers on the day: Sensei Daryl, Sensei Daniel, Sensei Matt and Sensei Jesse who happily paired up with students who needed partners on the day.

CMAA has never had a Black Belt Grading with so many successful candidates. And we are so very proud of all the students for their hard work and dedication, as well as all the instructors who have helped these students reach their goals at CMAA.

Our list for potential Black Belt candidates for 2020 is even bigger than in 2019, and we are all excited to see our school, students and teachers continue to grow throughout the years to come, as more and more people reach their goals.
